Located in the Saline, Michigan downtown corridor, Rachel DuRussel, stylist and
owner of Karma’s, has brought her own style to the area. Rachel’s artistic talent
with hairstyles, coloring and fashion inspired her to pursue a career in
cosmetology, which lead her to fulfilling her dream by opening Karma’s. Her
business philosophy is to provide quality service with exceptional customer
courtesy in a warm and embracing atmosphere.
Karma has an environment that puts clients at ease from the moment they walk
through the door. When entering the salon the sound of soft music is heard, the
warm glow of candles illuminate your surroundings, local art adorns the walls and
you immediately feel right at home. The creation of that ambiance is what gave
Rachel the inspiration for the name of her salon.

and style. In order to achieve this goal, Rachel and her staff are involved in
continuing education programs, giving their clients first class service backed by
industry leading products and techniques.
Karma has grown since first opening the doors in 2004. Andy Perry has joined
Rachel as a co-owner and together their expertise and customer service is
unmatched.
The salon has been redesigned to accommodate the growth and when asked
why go through the expense and trouble of redesigning the salon, Rachel’s
response was, “I want to continually give our customers a relaxing experience
along with quality service, that’s what we strive for.”
